'It felt as if my life was on pause until I returned to England,' she says. 'I just never really feel like myself when I'm not in London, with my friends and family.' After the breakdown of her four-year marriage, the actress has found love again with Peregrine 'Perry' Pearson, Viscount Cowdray's son and heir. Sophie cut an ethereal display in a white mini dress as she accepted the award on Tuesday. She said: 'I'm going through a legal process right now where I can't really say much, but it was incredibly sad. 'We had a beautiful relationship, and it was hard.' Elsewhere in the interview, Sophie also defended being away from her children for work, after she was cruelly mum-shamed in the wake of her divorce from Joe . Their divorce sparked a gender row after sources claimed Sophie had been partying while Joe looked after their two children - with fans slamming the reports as 'mum-shaming' . Speaking to the publication on Tuesday about travelling for work - she has been filming several projects, including her latest hit Joan - Sophie said she hopes her daughters will see she is a 'hard-working mum' and is 'doing everything for them'. 'I want them to see me having a social life and enjoying work and thriving in my career and relationships,' she said.
