South Beloit basketball standout Ross Robertson signs with Northern Michigan University

SOUTH BELOIT, Ill. (WTVO/WQRF) — South Beloit basketball standout Ross Robertson made a verbal commitment to Northern Michigan University several months ago. Wednesday on National Signing Day he made it official by signing his National Letter of Intent. Robertson was named first team All-State for Class 1A last season after averaging 26.1 points, 14.2 rebounds and 2.4 blocked shots per game with his 6'8 frame. He is South Beloit's all-time leading scorer with 2,082 points with one full season still remaining. Northern Michigan is an NCAA Division II program that competes in the Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference. To hear from Robertson, watch the media player above.
