This past week, with the election days away, the Journal reached out to local South Dakota Legislature candidates with a series of questions.
We see it as offering a chance to make a final pitch before Election Day.
Not every candidate responded. But in fairness to those who answered, we are running their responses, edited only to remove attacks on opponents and clean up or remove unverifiable claims.
