SIOUX CITY, Iowa (KCAU) — The season of separation as the contenders begin to rise to the top of the crop.

That's certainly the case for our the KCAU 9 SportsZone Game of the Week out in Nebraska in the matchup of Stanton versus Summerland. Both teams come into Friday night's game undefeated at 3-0. Stanton is the defending class D-1 champion and currently number one for the season thus far. That doesn't mean Summerland isn't a threat though, as they are currently ranked seven.

The Stanton Mustangs are averaging 46 points in their first three games this season, while the Summerland Bobcats are averaging 48-points-per game. The two score their points differently too, with Stanton hitting it hard on the ground and Summerland getting most of their points through the air.
