Spotty showers possible Tuesday before things dry out around Charlotte

(PINPOINT WEATHER) — In the wake of the devastating flooding last week, we've still been under the influence of low pressure and lingering moisture from Helene.

This will lead to more spotty showers overnight and again Tuesday afternoon and evening.

Thankfully, any rain won't add up to much. Only a few hundredths of an inch for the most part. But any heavier showers could give another quarter to half-inch to some communities. This will not lead to any additional flooding, but landslides are still a threat in the mountains with more showers in the forecast.

A dry cold front passes through on Wednesday, giving us some drier conditions mid-to-late week. Temperatures will stay on the warm side for early October.

Tonight: Lingering shower possible. Variably cloudy. Low 66.

Tuesday: AM fog, then spotty showers possible. High 82.
