Stark County deputies searching for missing woman, suspect boyfriend

STARK COUNTY, Ohio (WOIO) - The Stark County Sheriff's Office is searching for a missing woman and her boyfriend after he fled deputies.

Deputies say they are searching for 26-year-old Sean Goe in connection to the disappearance of 24-year-old Raychel Sheridan.

Deputies say they were called to the 4100 block of Orchard Dale Drive NW in Plain Township around 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, where they searched the residence and surrounding area.

Sheridan was not found and has been entered into the national database as a missing person, officials say.

Deputies say they were on the scene when they saw a maroon Jeep Liberty, believed to be registered to Raychel, traveling on Guilford Ave NW.

The driver, identified as Goe, fled on foot after being stopped, officials say.

Deputies pursued the suspect on foot and deployed a K-9 unit to search the area but were unable to locate Goe, who was last seen in the area of 38th Street NW and Guilford Ave NW.

Officials say Goe has active warrants for burglary, grand theft of a firearm and domestic violence. He is wanted for questioning in connection with the missing persons investigation involving Sheridan.

Deputies ask that anyone with information related to this case or the whereabouts of Sheridan or Goe contact the Stark County Sheriff's Office at 330-430-3800.
