Staten Island toddler death ruled a homicide months later: NYPD
STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. (PIX11) — A one-month-old boy died at a local hospital on Staten Island in July.
On Tuesday, his death was ruled a homicide by the Medical Examiner of New York City, according to the NYPD.

Back in July, the toddler was brought into the hospital by private means and was later pronounced dead. Hospital staff reached out to the NYPD because the toddler was brought in unconscious and unresponsive, police said.
His death was referred to the medical examiner's office. PIX11 News reached out to the NYPD for clarification on the case. The NYPD did not provide a cause of death at this time.
PIX11 News contacted the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner of the City of New York, but the office was not immediately available for comment.
