Staying chilly to close week with warmer temperatures ahead

B.Lee3 months ago

It will be cloudy and chilly in the 30s for Friday, with a light wind out of the northwest around 5-10 mph.

Expect Saturday to be breezier with winds out of the southeast around 10-20 mph and in the high 30s. Stray showers overnight in northern Wisconsin and along the North Shore can't be ruled out, but remain as light rain showers.

A breezy stretch of days will continue into Sunday, with winds starting similar to Saturday and shifting out of the southwest by the evening. A warm-up will begin with high 40s on Sunday. Across northern Minnesota, there may be stray showers throughout the late morning, but most of the Northland remains dry.

You'll see clearer skies with breezy south winds and high 40s on Monday to start the week mild.

The warm-up continues into the week, staying in the low 50s for highs and dry through Thursday.

There will be a cooler note to close out the week next Friday with highs in the 40s going into next weekend.
