Staying sunny to wrap up September, with a cooler start to October

A.Kim3 hr ago

We are keeping the warm temperatures about the region for another day, as we get plenty of sun to start the week around Rochester. Highs warm up into the low 80s once again today, with a light breeze out of the south for much of the afternoon. However, more seasonable weather will be on the way this week, as winds will begin to shift to out of the west as a cold front slides on through this evening.

Tomorrow we start October on an autumnal note, with highs staying in the mid-60s with a bit of a breeze out of the northwest throughout the day. Wednesday sees a return of the upper 70s throughout the area, however it will come on a windy day, seeing winds sustain around 15-25 mph out of the south-southwest.

Through the rest of the week, temperatures will stay around 70° for much of the region, only seeing a few clouds pass on by. Heading into the weekend, we continue this drier stretch throughout the region, and temperatures remain mild throughout next weekend as well.
