Steelers surpass 400 yards on offense in first game without OC Matt Canada

The Pittsburgh Steelers have officially broken the longest streak in the league for most games without 400 yards on offense in Week 12, officially surpassing the 400-yard mark in the fourth quarter of Sunday’s game with a 13-yard run from Najee Harris. The last time the Steelers notched 400 yards in a single game was back on September 20, 2020 — 1,162 days ago — in Week 2 of the 2020 NFL season. The game came just five days following the firing of Matt Canada as the team’s offensive coordinator, as quarterbacks coach Mike Sullivan called plays from the sideline. He and running backs coach Eddie Faulkner are working in tandem as interim offensive coordinators, with Faulkner handling the bulk of the day-to-day responsibilities outside of playcalling. Now, the Packers hold the record for most consecutive games without 400 or more net yards, holding an 18-game streak dating back to Week 11 of the 2022 season.
