Stella T. Savitsky of Plains passed away Monday evening at her residence.
Born in Plains Township, she was a daughter of the late Adolph and Rose
Razemowicz Dmochowski. She was educated in the Plains Township schools. She
was employed in the local garment industry, retiring 30 years ago. She was a
member of SS. Peter & Paul Church, Plains, and its Altar and Rosary Society.
She was also a member of the Plains Senior Citizens.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph, who passed away Sept. 2,

Gates, Blanche Mroz and Julia Gurka.

She is survived by daughters, Nancy Swiecicki, Joan Savitsky, Patricia
Brady, Mary Ann Iskra and Susan Zbierski; son, Robert Savitsky; sister,
Josephine Vegso, New Jersey; brothers, Hank Mochowski, Michigan; and Edward
Dmochowski, Florida; 18 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren; nieces and
nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday morning at 9 a.m. from the Michael
J. Mikelski Funeral Home, 293 S. River St., Plains Township. A Mass of
Christian Burial will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. at SS. Peter & Paul Church,
Plains. Interment will be in the parish cemetery, Plains.
