Stephen F. McCurdie

Stephen Frederick McCurdie, 45, of Lexington, IL, passed away suddenly from a heart attack at his home on September 24, 2024.
He was born July 11, 1979, in Normal, IL, to Michael and Sharon (Passmore) McCurdie. He graduated from Normal Community High School in 1997 and earned his associates degree from Kankakee Community College. He was the General Sales Manager for Barker Chevrolet in Lexington and was a member of the Sons of the American Legion.
Steve was an avid fan of the Bears, Cubs, Notre Dame Fighting Irish and loved to work out. He was a wonderful son, brother, uncle and friend to so many. We are so sad he is gone.
He is survived by his parents of Towanda, IL; his siblings, Michelle McCurdie of Bloomington, IL, Kim (Joel) Hartman of El Paso, IL, Michael (Shannon) McCurdie of Longwood, FL, and Jennifer (Dan) Cook of LeRoy, IL; five nieces, Ashlee, Lauren, Camryn, Abigail and Ruby; five nephews, Travis, Aidan, Lucas, Benjamin and Joseph. He was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Brian Schade, whom he loved dearly.
