Street construction project to begin Tuesday in downtown Sioux Falls

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) - A street construction project will begin on Tuesday in Sioux Falls, which may lead to traffic delays in the area.

Beginning on Tuesday, November 5, 2024, the southbound lane on North Phillips Avenue will be intermittently closed between Falls Park Drive and Second Street to allow crews to perform sidewalk repairs.

Southbound traffic will be flagged around the work area as necessary.

Weather permitting, this work is anticipated to be completed within three days.

Drivers are urged to use caution and reduced speeds while traveling near the construction area and may want to consider alternate routes.
