Nikita Kuzmin left Strictly Come Dancing viewers in hysterics during Sunday's result show, as he made a massive blunder while speaking to host Claudia Winkleman .

The professional dancer, who had just got through to week four of the BBC show with his celebrity partner Sam Quek , was asked what the pair would be dancing to next week when he made a hilarious error.

He said: 'I can give you more than a taste. Well first of all we are dancing the Samba,' before breaking out into Shakira 's hit 2001 song, Whenever, Wherever'.

Nikita jumped out of his seat and sang, 'Le-do-lo-le-lo-le, Le-do-lo-le-lo-le, Whenever, wherever, we're meant to be together, I'll be there, and you'll be near,' prompting his fellow dancers to also join in singing and dancing to the track.

However, as the former Celebrity Big Brother star returned to his seat, Claudia said: 'Nikita, I love you so much but it was the other Shakira song'.

Nikita's jaw quickly dropped as he was left red faced with his head in his hands before Claudia asked how the track, Hips Don't Lie actually goes, leaving him completely blanked faced.

The moment caused his partner Sam's draw to drop in shock while co-stars Gorka Márquez, Aljaz Škorjanec, Pete Wicks and Jowita Przystal were all bent over laughing at the hilarious mistake.

Following the show, Nikita took to Instagram and apologised to Shakira, he penned: 'OMG sorry He also revealed: 'The thing is, I already started choreographing to the song hahahaha'.

Fans quickly rushed to the comments of the moment shared on Instagram to say it is the 'funniest ever moment' on the series.

'Funniest ever moment; Screaming at this, the way the entire room was hyped up to the wrong song; Poor Nikita, he gave it so much oomph as well; I'm still laughing at this! Love you Nikita.'

'Hilarious!! Nikita, you're an angel; I could watch this on a loop!; love nikita can't stop laughing can't believe he sang the wrong song but still love him; Howlling just brilliant'.

During the Sunday show, Toyah Willcox became the second star to leave the show after she landed in the bottom for a second week.

The 80s singer, 66, and partner Neil Jones , 42, were eliminated from the competition after losing the dance off to footballer Paul Merson and partner Karen Hauer following Movie Week.

Following the judge's decision Toyah gushed over 'phenomenal' Neil and declared her experience on the show 'the best two months of my life!.

Both couples performed their routines again, with Toyah and Neil taking to the floor with their Samba to Poor Unfortunate Souls from Little Mermaid , after scoring just 15 out 40 and landing at the bottom of Saturday's leaderboard.

Meanwhile Paul and Karen performed their Cha Cha to The Magnificent Seven from The Magnificent Seven, which saw them initially score 19.

After both couples danced, the judges delivered their verdicts with Craig Revel Horwood , Motsi Mabuse and Anton Du Beke all choosing to save Paul and Karen.

With three votes in favour of Paul and Karen, they won the majority vote meaning Toyah and Neil would be leaving.

Head Judge Shirley Ballas also agreed with her fellow professionals and said she would have also decided to save Paul and Karen.
