Stuber Health Center recognized with award for innovation
Oct. 16—A local community health center earned an award at a conference with other community health clinics.
The National Association of Free and Charitable Clinics recognized the Stuber Health Center with its "Member of the Year Award" for its innovation in addressing challenges faced by free clinics at a meeting in Atlanta, Georgia.
The health center, located at 904 S. 10th St. Suite A, provides medical, dental and specialty care for residents.
In a statement, the Stuber Health Center thanked its supporters and declared its commitment to providing quality health care to underserved individuals in Buchanan County.
"We shall continue to be the safety net healthcare provider for the underserved in our community, unwavering in our dedication," the statement said. "What we do here is impossible without the support of the City Mayor and Council, County Commission, donors and funders, and our collaborators."
