Suspect arrested after crashing vehicle into Grand Haven-area home

ich. (WOOD) — A suspect was arrested after crashing into a home near Grand Haven Sunday night, deputies say. Around 9:48 p.m., deputies with the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office were called to a home on Silverbrook Drive near River Haven Boulevard in Grand Haven Township for a vehicle that had crashed into a home. Arriving deputies found the driver was still inside. "Deputies attempted contact with the suspect and ultimately used less lethal tools," the sheriff's office wrote in a news release. The suspect was eventually taken into custody, and after being medically cleared, was booked into the Ottawa County Jail. The suspect was not identified by the sheriff's office.
