Investigators believe Ramirez’s vehicle was stolen from his home and he followed at least one suspect to the area where the was shot, police said. The stolen vehicle was recovered about a block way from where Ramirez was found.

It was unclear whether additional suspects were involved in the shooting or if Deleon would be facing charges related to the stolen vehicle.

The investigation is ongoing.
