Suspected thief waves knife at manager, steals $10 worth of merchandise

( KRON ) – A suspected thief, who stole around $10 worth of merchandise, has been arrested after threatening a store manager with a knife, according to the Colma Police Department.

At 7:20 p.m. on Sept. 13, Colma PD responded to a robbery in the 700 block of Serramonte Boulevard. Officers were informed that a suspect, later identified as 35-year-old San Francisco resident Katunga Nunn, had stolen merchandise from the store. When Nunn was confronted by a store manager, police said, he "threatened" the manager with a knife.

Responding officers located Nunn and after confirmation from the store that he was the suspected thief, he was arrested.

Colma PD said Nunn stole $10.83 worth of merchandise.

Officers said they found drug paraphernalia and suspected methamphetamine on Nunn. Police also discovered Nunn had a $22,000 misdemeanor warrant for his arrest from a neighboring agency.

Nunn was booked into the San Mateo County Jail for suspicion of robbery, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a controlled substance and his warrant.
