Sweet Breeze removes boat from St. Marys River following 2024 season

FORT WAYNE, Ind. (WPTA) - On Wednesday morning, Sweet Breeze's replica canal boat was removed from the St. Marys River and prepared for winter storage, marking the end of its 2024 season.

On Saturdays, Sundays, and select Thursdays from May 25 to October 13, Sweet Breeze has offered accessible, 45, 60, and 90-minute public tours on the St. Marys, St. Joesph, and Maumee Rivers, allowing the public to learn about Fort Wayne through its riverfront.

Sweet Breeze's tours are completed under Fort Wayne Parks and Recreation and in partnership with Friends of the Rivers. Its next season is set to begin in mid-May 2025.
