Taiwan is urging children, elderly and the vulnerable not to travel to China amid an outbreak of a mystery pnuemonia in the country.

In a statement released after a cabinet meeting today, Taiwan's health ministry said those more prone to infection were 'requested not to travel to China unless necessary'.

The World Health Organization (WHO) yesterday demanded China release more data on the spike in cases, with cases mostly affecting children.
