Take me home: Meet Blondie, the longest resident at Burke County Animal Services

V.Davis29 min ago

The following are the Pets of the Week at Burke County Animal Services:

Chaka: An adorable, 2-year-old spayed female who loves to play and run with you. She is such a bundle of love and energy all wrapped in an adorable package. Please come meet her, as she is a longer resident at the shelter.

Blondie: A sweet 2-year-old spayed female who is our longest resident. She is doing well with other animals but most likely needs to meet her doggy friends first. She loves to play and cuddle, and is doing well with older children. She is currently in a foster home so give us a shout if you want to meet her.

Nectar: A shy but sweet 2-year-old spayed female who has been with us for a while. She loves to cuddle and would love to be the queen of your house and your couch. Please come meet her.

Binxie: A lovable, 2-year-old neutered male who loves people. He loves all things, cuddles and headbutts and would love a couch to cuddle you on. Please come meet him.

All adoptions include up-to-date vaccines, preventatives, a spay or neuter, and dogs will be heartworm tested.

Animal Services is in need of food donations for its community pet food bank, which goes to help pets of those in need. Donations can be dropped off or mailed to Burke County Animal Services at 425 Kirksey Drive, Morganton, NC 28655.

Those in need of pet food can stop by Animal Services and fill out a one-time informational form and let them know what you need.
