Tammy Baldwin's election victory doesn't make any sense | Nancy L. Wild
Being a strong conservative, I naturally am happy about the presidential outcome. However, I am completely baffled about U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin's win.
Not only has Baldwin, D-Madison, become totally uninvolved in Wisconsin except for an occasional visit to a milking parlor, but she has basically become a rubber stamp to bills put forward by others while still claiming to have created these same bills herself.
Her campaign was full of lies and was probably the most misleading mess I have ever witnessed. Her accusations of Eric Hovde's California address are laughable as she spends much of her time in the New York condo owned by her partner.
The ads claiming her love and care for veterans were especially offending. Under her "leadership," veterans suffered horrendous and deadly wait times and revelations of over-medication clouded her tenure.
Why, with this sordid record is she still being voted back in? The job of a U.S. senator is a privilege, with dedication, truth and hard work expected. She does not do this anymore. And now, she can disappear into the background with her rubber stamp ready for another six years.
It was truly the most disgusting outcome of all the election results in Wisconsin.
