Teen boy dies after bicycle struck in Prescott Valley

A teenage boy died after he was on a bicycle and struck by a vehicle Tuesday evening, and Prescott Valley police were investigating

Around 5:23 p.m., officers found a 14-year-old boy in need of medical attention as they responded to a crash between a vehicle and a bicycle on Viewpoint Drive between Manley and Long Mesa drives, police said. The boy was flown to a hospital, where he died from his injuries, according to police.

The driver of the vehicle which hit the bicycle was detained and was being investigated, police said Tuesday night on Facebook .
