It's been a rough year for area businesses and even your local caffeine purveyor isn't immune to hardships. Two San Antonio area businesses are bidding adios to their communities this November. Here's what we know so far.

"A time for every purpose under heaven" Eccl 3:1 It is with great sadness that we announce the closing of our coffee shop at the end of November. This has been a season of great joy, hard work, amazing friendships and most of all, a place our daughter has always felt loved and accepted by our community. Our family wants to thank you for your support, encouragement and so many good conversations through these 10 years. You will always be near to our hearts and we are forever grateful for helping accomplish our "mission". Stay tuned for more announcements in the coming days. For now, business as usual!"

The mission was simple enough, "Court Street Coffee Shop is a place where you can hug your mug and enjoy the atmosphere, take in the local art and just relax with the best coffee and best breakfast around."

After 10 wonderful years of serving you, it is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of our cafe. This journey has been filled with countless memories, laughter and connections that we will cherish forever.

We are deeply grateful for every moment you've shared with us — every conversation, every celebration. Thank you for being a part of our story and for letting us be part of yours."

Fans of Court Street took to the comment section to share their support for the owners with fellow Seguin business Pecantown Books & Brews lamenting their closure, "Such a loss for Seguin! Thank you for all you have done and are doing to create community and connections in downtown. Heather, Char and the whole team have been an inspiration, and I know each of you will continue to inspire as you imagine your next journey. We love and appreciate you more than we can say!"
