75th annual Sun Bowl Art Exhibition opens in central El Paso

The Sun Bowl Art Exhibition in central El Paso is celebrating the work of almost 100 local artists.

On Thursday, The Sun Bowl Association and the International Museum of Art in El Paso partnered up to celebrate 80 borderland artists with the grand opening of their annual art show.

Organizers said the Sun Bowl Art Exhibition is one of the longest running exhibits in the area with this being its 75th iteration.

The Sun Bowl Association's Executive Director Bernie Olivas said he has been doing this for 23 years and believes this year's exhibit is one of the best he has seen in his career.

The art exhibit will be available at the museum until Jan. 19, 2025.

The International Museum of Art in El Paso is located at1211 Montana Ave.
