(KRQE) — This weekend at the Double Eagle II Airport, an annual event returned to celebrate those who love planes, piloting, and flying.

The " 2024 Land of Enchantment Fly-In" celebrated 34 years on Saturday morning, inviting families to explore the world of aviation.

From seeing small aircrafts up close and talking to those in the industry, officials hoped the event would spark aviation interest in Albuquerque's youth.

Organizers said the event is fun for pilots because they get to share their love for planes with the community.
