4th Wawa store in Alabama to open in Mobile next week

MOBILE COUNTY, Ala. (WKRG) — Wawa fans along the Gulf Coast will soon have another spot to check out as the fourth store in Alabama opens next week.

According to a news release, Wawa is scheduled to open its next store in Mobile on Nov. 21.

The newest store, which is scheduled to open off Schillinger Road following a ribbon cutting, comes after the first Wawa opened in Alabama in April 2024.

7:30 a.m. – First Ceremonial Fuel Pump by Fleet Customer and Friends at Grayson Air Conditioning, Inc.

7: 45 a.m. – Countdown to doors opening

8:00 am – Doors open with t-shirts for the first 100 customers, as supplies last

8:30 am – Ribbon cutting ceremony

STORE LOCATION:

The grand opening celebration will feature a 'Wawa Through the Ages' history parade, a check presentation to Feeding the Gulf Coast, law enforcement competing in hoagie building, and a ribbon-cutting ceremony.

Those who cannot make it to the Thursday event can still have the opportunity to celebrate the opening with a free any-size hot coffee until Sunday, Dec. 1, according to officials.

Wawa officials said the new store will be the fourth location in Alabama.
