Thanksgiving Grocery Store Hours In Lemont Area: Jewel, Pete's Market It may be a good idea to get your shopping done before Thursday, as many stores will be closed.

LEMONT, IL — If you're looking to run out for a last-minute grocery run on Thanksgiving, it may be useful to know what exactly is open in the Lemont area. Jewel-Osco and Pete's Market will remain open on Thursday, but many others will be closed.

Hours for Pete's Market, 1100 State St., will be 7 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Thursday, according to the business' website.

Many others will be closed, however, including Walmart and Target, both of which readjusted their holiday hours in 2021 to give employees a day off to spend with their families. For the first time, Walgreens will also close most of its stores.

As always, if you need another pound of butter or an onion to finish cooking your Thanksgiving meal, it’s a good idea to call ahead to make sure they’re open.

Here's a look at whether grocery stores near you will be open or closed on Thursday:

Albertsons : Select stores open from 6 a.m. to at least 3 p.m.

Aldi : All stores are closed.
Located at 1237 State St., Lemont.

Costco : All stores are closed.

CVS : About 80 percent of stores will be closed.

Food4Less : Many locations are open from 6 a.m. to midnight.

Jewel-Osco : Stores open from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Located at 1202 State St., Lemont.

Meijer : Stores will open from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Sam’s Club : All stores are closed.

Target : All stores are closed.
Located at 13460 Archer Ave., Lemont.

The Fresh Market : Stores will open, but hours vary by location.

Trader Joe’s : All stores are closed.
