The Bunker at Crossgates opens restaurant at golf club near Millersville
The new restaurant at the Crossgates Golf Club in Manor Township recently began operating with limited hours and a limited menu, although both will be expanding soon.
The Bunker at Crossgates occupies the 80-seat restaurant space at the golf club near Millersville that had previously been the home of Copper Hill Public House, which closed in February.
The new restaurant at 1 Crossland Pass opened in late October with a menu that includes nachos, burgers, wings and lobster rolls as well as jerk chicken, meatballs and steamed shrimp. It also has a full bar serving a variety of beer, wine and cocktails.
Co-owner Tony Lyristis said The Bunker's menu features some favorites from Trio Bar & Grill in West Hempfield Township. He owns Trio with his wife, Becky.
The Bunker is open this week for dinner on Wednesday and Thursday and then lunch and dinner Friday through Sunday. Outside of its operating hours, the restaurant's bar is open for drinks and hot dogs.
Tony Lyristis said the plan is to eventually open The Bunker every day from 11 a.m. until 10 a.m. while still serving drinks and snacks to golfers outside those hours.
