It's a wonderful way for the community to enjoy and collect unique, affordable art."
Arts Illiana is pleased to welcome first-time guest juror, Samuel Penaloza. He has selected 69 pieces of art representing the work of 48 artists. He's a traditional painter with over a decade of experience. He does not only create unique art pieces, but he also works on murals. His most recent mural was the Citizens Energy Group's DigIndy art project in 2022. He created a large-scale mural of "Tlaloc" the Aztec god of rain. Visitors to the gallery will also enjoy an exhibition of Penaloza's artwork in the North Gallery during the run of smallART2024.
