The Wiley Center for Speech and Language Development, a nonprofit organization that supports individuals with autism from birth to adulthood, held its 45th annual "Beyond the Label" gala on Nov. 9.

The fundraising extravaganza, held in the Bayview Ballroom of the Marina del Rey Marriott, exceeded its fundraising goals of over $200,000.

Said Dr. Pamela Wiley, CEO and executive Director, "I extend my heartfelt appreciation to our supporters and Board of Directors who know the work that we do and how we educate our students to go 'Beyond the Label' — autism does not define them and our center prepares our students to live successful and fulfilled lives."
