Tuesday, Nov. 19 — 9 to 10 a.m. — Walnut Radio Holiday Coffee Event in the Getzschman Center at 1746 E. 23rd Ave. N., in Fremont.
Tuesday, Nov. 19 — 10 to 11 a.m. — Ready for Kindergarten at Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., in Fremont. The program is designed for children ages 2-5 and their caregivers. Stories, art, manipulatives and sensory stations will help build the skills needed for kindergarten.
Tuesday, Nov. 19 — 6:30 p.m. — Rich Hirschman travel presentation at Keene Memorial Library's Community Meeting Room, 1030 N. Broad St., in Fremont. Hirchman will wrap up his exploration of Egypt. The presentation will last about 45 minutes, allowing time for questions at the end. This presentation, which is geared towards adults, is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served.
Wednesday, Nov. 19 — 10 to 11 a.m. — Busy Baby Storytime at Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., in Fremont. This story time is designed for babies from birth to 24 months. There will be stories, rhymes and open play.
Thursday, Nov. 21 — 4 to 6 p.m. — Business After Hours at Platte Valley Equipment, 2221 County Road Q, north of Fremont. The first 100 to arrive will receive a giveaway. The lighting of this year's display will begin at 5:30 p.m.
Thursday, Nov. 21 — 4 to 5 p.m. — Lego Club at Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., in Fremont. Lego bricks will be supplied.
Thursday, Nov. 21 — 6:30 p.m. — Zentangle class at Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., in Fremont. Participants will learn how to use this mediative and relaxing method of drawing by using abstract patterns to create works of art. Each participant will receive one tile to create on. The class will be taught by local artist Diane Harpster.
Friday, Nov. 22 — 10 to 11 a.m. — Storytime at Keene Memorial Library, 1030 N. Broad St., Fremont. Storytime is open to kids of all ages and their caregivers. Stories, songs and crafts are included.
Friday, Nov. 22 — 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. — Sew Sweet Boutique at First United Methodist Church, Eighth and Broad Streets, in Fremont. The boutique will feature a variety of homemade gifts for the whole family. Everyone is welcome.

Saturday, Nov. 23 — 10 to 3 p.m. — Tannenbaum Festival at Scribner Library. Decorated trees will line the interior with vendors in the center. Lunch served all day will include homemade chili, chicken noodle and potato soups with chicken salad and roast beef sandwiches. Cheesecake will be served for dessert. Raffles and door prizes will be available. Santa will be on hand and local talent will provide music.
Sunday, Nov. 24 — 3 p.m. — Recital by harpist Melissa Schuerman at Sinai Lutheran Church, 950 E. Eighth St., in Fremont. The recital is the first performance of the 2024-25 Festival Sounds season. Schuerman's program will include a variety of works and will feature selected Christmas pieces. To add to the holiday experience, Christmas quilts created by Scott Flanagan and other area quilters will be displayed. The public is invited. There is no admission. Free will donations are welcome.
