This Fan-Favorite Item Is Being Recalled From Aldi—Here's What You Need to Know

Recent months have seen recalls on ready-to-eat products, from frozen waffles and deli meat to green onions and even lettuce. Big name brands like Boars Head and McDonald's have been embroiled in controversy due to outbreaks of E. coli and Listeria, and it seems like there's another recall on dog food every day.
Nothing seems insulated from being affected by the growing list of recalls, and the latest item to side-eye might just be sitting on your artfully prepared cheese board . That's right, folks, not even your brie is safe, and if you recently purchased the unctuously creamy cheese from Aldi , you might want to think twice before digging in.

Fromage manufacturer Savencia Cheese USA issued a recall for its soft-ripened cheeses due to the possibility of Listeria monocytogenes contamination, specifically affecting a number of brie and camembert cheeses distributed to select regional stores in the United States. Fortunately, the recall appears to be more preemptive than anything as there are no reports that the Listeria organism was actually found in any of the potentially affected products, but rather at a processing plant in Lena, Illinois.
The potentially affected SKUs include Emporium Selection Brie, Industrial Brie, La Bonne Vie Brie, La Bonne Vie Camembert, Market Basket Brie, and Supreme Oval Cheese all with a best by date of 12/24/2024.
