homas Stofko Jr., 57, of RD 2 Hunlock Creek, died Monday at Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-Barre.



Born July 20, 1944 he was a son of the late Thomas, Sr. and Margaret
(Bednar) Stofko. He was a 1962 graduate of Nanticoke High School. He worked
for the Wilkes-Barre Window Cleaning Co. in the Maintenance Department. He was
a U.S. Air Force veteran. He was a member of St. Stephen’s-St. Mary’s Nativity
Church Community, Plymouth.

Surviving are his brothers, Dr. Albert E., Clarks Green; Joseph,
Barnesville; Donald, San Antonio; and Robert, Etters; sisters, Elaine J.
Grigas, Nanticoke; and Mary Ann Ellis, Bartonsville; and numerous nieces and
nephews and great-nieces and nephews, and one aunt.



The funeral will be at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday from the S.J. Grontkowski
Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9
a.m. at St. Stephen’s Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in the parish
cemetery, Lehman. Friends may call from 6 to 8 today. A prayer service will be
conducted this evening at the funeral home.
