THP: Motorcyclist injured, charges pending after crash on Highway 11E in Jonesborough

JONESBOROUGH, Tenn. (WJHL) — A motorcyclist was injured, and charges are pending following a crash on West Jackson Boulevard in Washington County, Tennessee, on Wednesday evening.

A report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP) said the crash occurred at 5:56 p.m. Wednesday near 1541 W Jackson Blvd.

According to the THP, a Volkswagen sedan was making a left turn across West Jackson Boulevard (US 11E), and as it was crossing, a northbound Harley-Davidson struck the vehicle.

The driver of the motorcycle was transported to a hospital with injuries, and charges are pending against him, according to the report.

The driver of the Volkswagen was uninjured and also has charges pending against her, the report said.
