Three charged with running drug ring in Jersey City, Newark

Three men, including one from Jersey City, were charged with operating a drug network in Jersey City and Newark after a months-long investigation by the Hudson County Prosecutor's Office Narcotics Task Force, Prosecutor Esther Suarez announced Friday. Erroll Allen, 52, of Jersey City, Alex Darby, 52, of Newark, and Brandon Thomas, 40, of Branchburg were arrested Wednesday after the execution of court-authorized search warrant at a home on Kensington Avenue in Jersey City and a home on Hunterdon Street in Newark, Suarez said. The search resulted in the seizure of more than 100 grams of suspected cocaine, more than 30 grams of suspected heroin and suspected prescription drugs.
