Three Pittsburgh Steelers set to return against Commanders, including do-it-all running back
G.Evans58 min ago
PITTSBURGH - The Pittsburgh Steelers will welcome back three players against the Washington Commanders. Running back Cordarrelle Patterson, center Zach Frazier, and quarterback Justin Fields will all play after missing games with various injuries. Patterson had missed the last four games after suffering an ankle injury against the Indianapolis Colts. He is not only expected to play but to have a solid role in the offense. This is the first time since Week 3 that all of the Steelers' running backs are healthy. Frazier suffered an ankle injury against the Las Vegas Raiders and has missed the last two games. He fully practiced all week and not only will return but seems fully back from a mobility standpoint. Fields tweaked his hamstring before the team's game against the New York Giants, but the Steelers were cautious with his injury and now he will be the backup against the Commanders. Tight end MyCole Pruitt, who did not practice with a knee injury on Thursday, was a full participant on Friday and will play.
