Thursday Forecast: Mild and Breezy

LINCOLN, Neb. (KOLN) - Another day with well above average temperatures is in the forecast for Thursday. The second half of this week looks to be a bit of a roller coaster with temperatures. Colder temperatures return and take hold of the area early next week. There are some chances for precipitation too. A cold front and upper level disturbance will move through the area Thursday. It is going to be partly to mostly cloudy, mild and breezy. Morning low temperatures look to be in the 30s and 40s. Afternoon high temperatures should reach the 60s. South-southwest winds at 15 to 25 mph and gusts to 35 becoming north-northwest at the same speeds behind the cold front. There is a 20% chance of sprinkles and light rain showers in the afternoon and evening. For those that see rain, a trace to a few hundredths of inch is possible. (KOLN)Thursday High Temperatures (KOLN) The clouds will decrease Thursday night, but it remains a bit breezy with north-northwest winds at 10 to 20 mph and gusts to 30 mph. Friday should be mostly sunny to sunny and not as breezy with variable winds at 5 to 15 mph. High temperatures will range from the low 50s to low 60s. (KOLN) Saturday should be warmer before it cools down again Sunday. At or slightly below average temperatures return for the first half of next week. There are some decent chances for rain Sunday and Monday. Monday and Tuesday look to be breezy. (KOLN)
