Thursday Night Football, Week 10: Bengals and Ravens meet in AFC North clash

A.Davis32 min ago
This evening, Week 10 gets underway with an exciting divisional game on Thursday Night Football. The Bengals and Ravens are both jockeying for position in the AFC North, with Baltimore a half-game back of the division-leading Pittsburgh Steelers and Cincinnati two games behind that.

Each of these teams has designs on the postseason, of course, with the Ravens coming off an AFC Championship game appearance behind two-time MVP Lamar Jackson. The Bengals, of course, have an MVP candidate themselves in Joe Burrow, who has been one of the league's best passers despite the Bengals struggling a bit in the first half of the season.

Still, Cincinnati's only truly disappointing loss, in hindsight, was a surprising 16-10 defeat to the lowly New England Patriots in week one. Otherwise, the other four teams that have beaten them are among the best teams in the NFL — the Chiefs, Commanders, Ravens, and Eagles are all in playoff position currently, with only Washington being a surprising team in that group.

Yes, the Ravens did beat the Bengals earlier this season, when the two teams played in Cincinnati. That game came down to the wire, with Baltimore coming back from a 10-point deficit in the final six minutes to win in overtime. Will we get another dramatic finish tonight? Let's hope so.
