Tide's Milroe, Proctor Earn Conference Honors Following Iron Bowl

TUSCALOOSA, AL — Fresh off one of the most iconic Iron Bowl endings in program history, Crimson Tide quarterback Jalen Milroe and offensive lineman Kadyn Proctor both earned weekly honors from the Southeastern Conference. to our free daily newsletter and breaking news alerts. Milroe, who was named Co-Offensive Player of the Week, ran for 107 yards on 18 carries, while going 16-of-24 through the air for 259 yards and two scores — including the strike to receiver Isaiah Bond to seal the deal over the Auburn Tigers.
The award is the third conference honor for Milroe this season.
Proctor was named SEC Lineman of the Week for his performance, which saw him not allow a sack or a quarterback hit, while also recording two total knockdown blocks.
The Crimson Tide will return to action on Saturday at 3 p.m. in Atlanta when Alabama takes on No. 1 Georgia in the SEC Championship Game.
