Tiglin acquires Loreto Convent in Bray to expand services
R.Campbell1 hr ago
A property with a legacy of education and community service dating back to 1850, with this new site, Tiglin aims to create a hub for community-centred programmes through education, employment upskilling, and family support. While the project is in its early stages, Tiglin looks forward to collaborating closely with Wicklow County Council and other local stakeholders to bring their vision to life, building on the success of its established services in Greystones. "We are excited about the opportunities this property presents and look forward to engaging with Wicklow County Council and others to ensure this project serves as a valuable resource for the entire community," Tiglin CEO Phil Thompson commented. In addition to developing new programmes, Tiglin remains committed to supporting vulnerable groups already connected to the site. The Ukrainian families currently residing at Loreto Convent will continue to receive the resources and support they need as part of Tiglin's approach to community care. "Tiglin's acquisition of Loreto Convent represents a meaningful expansion of our mission to foster resilience, provide opportunity, and inspire positive change within communities," a spokesperson said. "We look forward to transforming this historic site into a beacon of hope and support for Bray and beyond, creating a lasting impact that honours its legacy and serves future generations."
