Timber Creek uses last-minute TD to edge out victory over Williamstown - Football recap

A touchdown in the last minute of play by Tyrone Baker gave Timber Creek a late lead and an eventual 22-13 win over Williamstown, in Williamstown.

The Chargers (3-1) took a 9-0 lead into the halftime break but Williamstown (1-3) scored two unanswered third-quarter touchdowns to take a 13-9 lead.

With just under a minute left in the fourth quarter Baker punched in a touchdown off a QB sneak to give his team a 16-13 lead. The Braves tried to put together a drive in the remaining 53 seconds but Zyeir Green took advantage of a screen pass attempt and pulled off an interception that led to a 60-yard touchdown.

Amir Reason-Dallas gave Timber Creek its first points off a first-quarter touchdown and Eli Green used a TFL to give his team a safety.

Aiden Davidson and Trey Alexander both scored rushing touchdowns for the Braves.
