BEST BET: New exhibits open Tuesday at the art galleries of Misericordia University in Dallas with three well-known area artists in the spotlight. ‘Nina Davidowitz & Skip Sensbach: Essence of Form’ offers recent suburban landscape paintings by Davidowitz and large, constructed sculptures exploring the relationship between various materials by Sensbach, both in the Pauly Friedman Gallery. Also on display: ‘Leigh Pawling: Botanical Impressions – An Installation of Contrasting Images’ in the adjacent MacDonald Gallery. A free opening reception will be held 5 to 8 p.m. on April 14.
