BEST BET: Wander through the charming streets of historic downtown Bethlehem this weekend and you’ll find yourself encountering a different style of music on each street corner as Musikfest, the Nation’s largest non-gated music festival, winds up its final three days. With 15 stages – excuse me, they’re called “platzes” at this fest – this huge serving of musical acts embraces everything from Celtic to reggae, jazz to blues, rock to classical and everything in between. Take in a ticketed concert (Sheryl Crow, Daughtry and Boston are on for this weekend) or sample the many free concerts including the Large Flowerheads, the Abram Brothers, Diego’s Umbrella, Hickory Brass, Gangstagrass, the Prodigals, Burning Bridget Cleary, Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds, Sarah King & the Smoke Rings, Hot Club Philly, the Almighty Terribles and many more. The fest runs noon to 11 p.m. each day, and there’s plenty of information to sift through at musikfest.org.
