EXETER: The Exeter Community Ambulance membership drive has been extended to May 31. Any resident who did not receive an application can contact Linda at the Exeter Borough Town Hall.

MOUNTAIN TOP: The M.S. Kirby Library, 35 Kirby Ave., is hosting a series of women’s health programs this month.

• 7 p.m. Wednesday, “Nutrition for Women” with Donna J. Fetzko, holistic nutrition, CNC. Discussion on how nutritional foods can improve and maintain health, happiness and productivity.

• 6:30 p.m. May 21, “Secrets and Solutions to a Healthier You” with Dr. Dan Golaszewski. Discover ways to obtain better health now and in the future.

• 6 p.m. May 27, “A Woman’s Guide to Diabetes” with Donna Yuscavage. Diabetes prevention and management basics specific to women’s issues will be discussed.

• 6:30 p.m. May 28, “The Perfect Diet for You” with Jacki Rydzefski. Program includes tips on finding a diet and a smoothie-making demonstration. Class limited to 30.

• An additional program is scheduled to take place in June with Dr. Barbara Plucknett of Advanced Gynecology Associates.

TUNKHANNOCK: The Wyoming County Historical Society, Bridge and Harrison streets, is hosting its 23rd annual open house from 1-4 p.m. on May 18. Admission is free and families are encouraged to bring their children.

Exhibits will include photographs of the building of the Tunkhannock viaduct, Nicholson, 1912-1915, by Geist and photographs of the Vosburg Tunnel flood of 1936.

Tours of the genealogical library and museum will also be available.
