FORTY FORT: Forty Fort United Methodist Church, Wyoming Avenue, will host a video seminar with Dr. Emerson Eggerich and his wife, Sara, for men and women from 6 to 9 p.m. on April 18 and from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. on April 19.
The course is based on Scripture taken from Ephesians 5:33; “Husbands must love their wives and wives must respect their husbands.”
A light supper and beverages will be provided on April 18 and a continental breakfast and sandwich platter will be served April 19. The seminar will end with a worship service by Don Roberts, pastor.
The cost of this two-day seminar is $7 per person. Registration deadline is April 7.

PLYMOUTH: Welsh classes will be held at the First Welsh Baptist Church, Shawnee Avenue, at 7 p.m. on April 1, 14 and 29.
SWEET VALLEY: Sweet Valley Church of Christ, 5439 Main Road, will present “Four Nights of Spiritual Renewal” at 7 p.m. April 6 to 9.
Evangelist Ron Savitts, guest speaker, will begin the revival at the 8 and 10:30 a.m. services on April 6.
Child care will be provided and a free-will offering taken.
WILKES-BARRE: Firwood United Methodist Church, Old River Road and Dagobert streets, is sponsoring a bus trip to Vanity Fair on April 2.
WILKES-BARRE: The Ladies of Charity, Diocese of Scranton, has scheduled its annual Day of Enrollment on April 5 at the King’s College Chapel.
Doors open at 10 a.m. and Mass will begin at 10:45 a.m. with Monsignor Joseph P. Kelly. A luncheon will be served in the Fitzgerald Room on the third floor of the Sheehy/Farmer Campus Center Building following the Mass.
The luncheon costs $14. Deadline for reservations is April 1. Payments can be made to Ladies of Charity and mailed to Evelyn Raitter, president, 33 Oak Drive, Mountain Top, PA 18707. Call at 474-5192 for further information.
WILKES-BARRE: Wilkes-Barre Chapter of UNICO is accepting requests for charitable contributions. Requests must be received by April 15.
WILKES-BARRE: The Wilkes-Barre Lions Club will host a leader dog presentation with guest speaker Grace Scullen and her lead dog Balto at 6 p.m. on April 8 at the Ramada Inn, Public Square. The cost is $10 per person and includes a meal, beverage and gratuity.
