Nell M. Mrusko, age 85, of West Main Street, Plymouth, died Friday at the
Hampton House, Wilkes-Barre.
Born March 25, 1919, in Plymouth, she was the daughter of the late Joseph
and Anna Wrazen Pagoda. She had been a life resident of Plymouth Borough and
she attended Plymouth High School. She was a member of the St. Mary’s, St.
Stephens, St. Vincent’s Church Community of Plymouth. She and her family owned
and operated Pagoda’s Restaurant in Plymouth for many years. Prior to her
retirement, she had been employed by the Atwater Throwing Co. in the testing
laboratory. She was a member of the Birthday Club.

She was preceded in death by brothers, John and Walter; and a sister, Mary
Hrinko.

Surviving are her son, Joseph P. and his wife, Susan, of King of Prussia;
grandchildren, Daniel J. and Krista E. Mrusko of Audubon, Pa.;
step-grandchildren, Daniel, Kevin, John and Katie Benedix; a sister, Sophie
Pagoda of Plymouth; and nieces and nephews.

The funeral will be held Tuesday at 8:30 a.m. from the S.J. Grontkowski
Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9 a.m. in St. Mary’s Nativity Church, Plymouth. Interment will be in
the parish cemetery, Plymouth Township.
