Anna M. Stone, age 71, of Wood Street, Plymouth Township, died Monday
evening at Hospice Community Care Inpatient Unit of the Mercy Hospital,
Wilkes-Barre.
Born Sept. 15, 1932, in Hunlock Creek, she was the daughter of the late Jay
and Erma Wildoner Fink. She had resided in Hunlock Creek for many years. She
had attended Hunlock Creek schools and Hanover High School. She was a member
of St. Vincent DePaul Church, Plymouth.
She was preceded in death by brothers, Jay Jr. and Edward Fink. She and her
husband, Harry J., celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28.
Surviving, in addition to her husband, are children, Harry J. and his wife,
Donna of Warrior Run; Patrick J. of Plymouth; Esther M. and her husband,
Charles Bolton of Plymouth; Susan and her husband, Dale Pearson of Plymouth
Township; Marie A. and her husband, Richard Geffert of Plymouth; Sharon and
her husband, Ronald Patara of Plymouth; Jeffery V. of Plymouth Township; 14
grandchildren; one great-grandchild; a brother, George Fink, Hunlock Creek; a
sister, Hilda Gleski of Honey Pot section of Nanticoke; numerous nieces and
nephews.
The funeral will be held Thursday at 9 a.m. from the S.J. Grontkowski
Funeral Home, 530 W. Main St., Plymouth, followed by a Mass of Christian
Burial at 9:30 a.m. in St. Vincent DePaul Church, Plymouth. Interment will be
in Edge Hill Cemetery, West Nanticoke.
