Ruth E. Disque, 80, of Dallas, formerly of Lehman Township, passed away
Saturday at the Meadows Nursing Center, Dallas.
Born in Pikes Creek, she was a daughter of the late Philip and Marion
(Ballentine) Disque. She was a graduate of Lehman High School. At one time she
was employed as a cafeteria worker in the Lake-Lehman School District and
later served on the cleaning staff at the former First Eastern Bank, Dallas.
She was a member of the Maple Grove United Methodist Church. She was preceded
in death by brothers, Robert, Philip, and Warren; sister, Barbara Cooney.
Surviving are sisters, Marion J.B. Disque, Dallas; Mildred Seitz, Hurst,
Texas; brothers, Lewis, Reading; Frederick, Deal, Md.; nieces and nephews.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday from the Richard H. Disque
Funeral Home Inc., 672 Memorial Highway, Dallas, with the Pastor W. James Pall
officiating. Interment will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Pikes Creek.
Friends may call Tuesday from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Maple Grove United Methodist
Church.
