Pens revise starting times
The Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins announced today that the starting time
of their preseason game with the Hershey Bears on Saturday, Oct. 2 at Wachovia
Arena has been changed to 7:05 p.m. It was previously scheduled to start at 2
p.m.

Also, the regular-season game against the Philadelphia Phantoms on Sunday,
Dec. 26 at Wachovia Arena has been changed to 7:05 p.m. It was previously
scheduled to start at 5:05 p.m.

In addition, there have been two changes in the Pittsburgh Penguins’
preseason schedule.

The Penguins will open the 2004 preseason schedule at 7 p.m. on Saturday,
Sept. 25 with a game against Boston at Wachovia Arena. The game was originally
scheduled to be played at Mellon Arena in Pittsburgh.

Pittsburgh will play the Washington Capitals at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday, Oct.

Arena.

Holod favored with honor





The name of Jillian Holod, a Tunkhannock High School graduate now at
Quinnipiac University, was omitted for a list of local players who were
honored by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association for academic
excellence.
